  • What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? n/a, not started yet

    WTO/TWW? WTO

Ages of other child(ren)? 15 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? nope, just chugging along like always

Any questions? so.... over the past month, I would say DS has only nursed a handful of times. Granted I had back to back week-long business trips. He didn't nurse at all last week (although he did tug on my shirt a few times but was content given a sippy cup of milk after he did that). He did nurse once in the MOTN a few nights ago because I couldn't get him back to sleep and figured he needed more comfort than what being held/cuddling could provide. would you consider him weaned or should I give it more time? He needs to be weaned before I can start the meds that I'll be on for TTC #2. Should I wait until he goes a full 2 weeks without nursing? Thoughts?

Rant/Rave? I have Friday off this week so we're going to go do some nature walking!

GTKYQ: what is your favorite Halloween/Fall tradition/activity to do with your kids. Bonus question: what is your child's favorite Halloween/Fall thing to do? well since this will only be DS's 2nd Halloween we don't quite have traditions yet. It's been a family tradition to go to a corn maze and we used to go to the largest in the state. When my oldest niece was 2 started going to a different farm/corn maze that also had a shit ton of slides and playground type equipment, goats you can feed, pig races, and a tractor ride that we will now be going to for the foreseeable future because all the littles love it. Both years now with DS I've gotten a photo of him in front of the "how tall this fall" sign that they have. Last year since he was not even 3 months old I obviously had to hold him up :D. We'll see if we ever end up getting into doing pumpkin carving. It's just so messy and I'm not a fan of that kind of thing.

What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? Just over 2 years

    WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? 6 years old today

Any thoughts about this cycle? I'm feeling pretty good. We had our 2nd IUI last week and I think we did a better job with timing and overall not feeling rushed

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? I'm getting real tired of being the responsible sibling in my family 😒 my sisters are well into their mid 20s so they've gotta get it together because sometimes I don't wanna be the one everybody goes to get their problems solved

GTKYQ: what is your favorite Halloween/Fall tradition/activity to do with your kids. Bonus question: what is your child's favorite Halloween/Fall thing to do? We've gone the last few years to a farm where they have a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and candy hunt. It's always lots of fun and I usually do handlettering on the pumpkins afterwards 🎃

@inthewoods23  hmm I'm not sure on the weaning. With mine we did exclusive pumping so I had weaned myself off the pump when my supply tanked (right around when he started solids)

  • @inthewoods23 If you don’t like the messiness of pumpkin carving, you could do pumpkin painting/decorating. We’ve done that a couple of times and I definitely prefer that over carving. Plus the pumpkins last way longer that way.

What number are you trying for? 3, but first two are adopted/being adopted

    Month/Cycle? Stopped counting

    WTO/TWW? TWW

    Ages of other child(ren)? 5 and 6

Any thoughts about this cycle? Idk, timing was good, but I’m not super hopeful. Not sure why.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? It was almost 90 degrees out today and I was not having it. I just want fall weather to come and stick around for a while.

The kids’ favorite thing is just dressing up in their costumes. My favorite tradition is the Halloween fairy. Before going to bed on Halloween, you leave out most of your trick-or-treating candy for her to take (when I was a kid we usually got to keep like 10 pieces) and the fairy would leave a gift in exchange for the candy. This year my kids will be getting some Legos.
  • @britters314 I had never heard of the Halloween fairy! Sounds fun 😊 and I deff need fall weather asap, I am glad it's gotten cooler here but it's also been very rainy

  • @winterecho Yeah I’m pretty sure the Halloween fairy is a thing my mom made up and only my family does. I’ve never heard of anyone else doing it.
