Bilirubin levels

My sons bilirubin level was a 16.3 at 4 days old. I was trying to breastfeed but think my milk didnt come in and he got dehydrated. Anyone have a similar story? I’m so worried and have such bad mom guilt.

Same girl! Don’t worry NOT your fault! When I left hospital levels were normal so I was shocked that at 1 week they were high enough to hospitalize him!

Bilirubin levels peak at 5 days. It’s the way things are. It’s a good sign when they are able to pee and poo it away…
