From nipples to sipper transition

How to transition from bottles to sipper? My 13 month old throws away the sipper and cries for Dr brown nipple until it is given again. I started day care they want her to drink sitting up with sipper only. She cries and cries and is not drinking from sipper. She knows how to drink from sipper!
