Insomnia, anyone?

Even though I’m totally exhausted all day long, I’ve been having extreme insomnia since the very beginning. And when I do fall asleep for an hour or two at night, I wake up still feeling exhausted from the constant vivid dreams! Is it just me??

Re: Insomnia, anyone?

  • I use a magnesium supplement (natural calm) to help me sleep well! I personally don't even use the full recommended dose, and it helps me a lot.

  • I don’t know if this is technically pregnancy insomnia, but I keep waking up around 5 in the morning and the sleep I do get in the night is more like I’m just closing my eyes and being highly aware of everything happening in the room: the dog or my partner shift position, or he breathes heavily, or the other dog brushes against a water bottle, my hip starts to ache, don’t forget I can’t sleep on my back, now I have to use the bathroom; it’s never ending. Then when my partner gets up to go to work and the dogs leave the room with him, I finally sleep for 2 more hours. But this has been happening for the last 5 weeks.

It can be really exhausting, lol 😂
