**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in
their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that
could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children
or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a
spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent
to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to

Re: TWW w/o Aug 14
@maggiemadeit Thanks for all you do to keep this community going! I’m new to participating in the weekly threads, but they helped me feel so much less alone even when I was just a lurker 💛 I hope we can keep it going.

R/R: Hatch green chile season has arrived!! They’re pretty much my favorite part of late summer/early fall. I think I’d have them every day if I could.
CS/Q: Other than curiosity, is there a reason to test early? Could I be gaining knowledge that I’m missing out on by waiting?
*eta PS Hatch green chiles are the best! I just found a hatch green chile salsa last week and have been putting it on all the things.
*siggy warning*

R/R: I work in a restaurant and I swear the number of babies I’ve seen at work in single shifts recently has to be the universe screaming “baby” at me
CS/Q: anyone have tips for going from an active, casual sx schedule to suddenly freaking over which days to do it? We are old and have opposite work schedules, hard to “let it happen” in the moments we are both in bed or relaxed at home.
@rmsdashl At first when I didn’t know my cycle very well I just figured I might be in FW anywhere from CD 5-20 and tried to make that an active period and trust that timing would be good enough. Now that I know my cycle is fairly regular, when FW is approaching we sit down and compare calendars to figure out what days are feasible, and commit to those. It doesn’t always work out—sometimes one of us is too stressed or tired—but I’ve found it helpful to have a game plan set in advance. Not exactly a casual approach, but hopefully not coercive either!
