Upcoming appointments: just had a growth scan, next appointment is glucose test in three weeks!

How are you feeling? Nauseous heartburn nauseous. But at least I haven't started feeling the aches and pains I've been reading about!

Raves/Rants: ultrasound pictures. My baby moves a lot, but I wish we could get better pictures! Each time, the picture looks worse than the last! Today's picture is baby's head, but it just looks like fuzzy lumps and bumps. I've seen other ppl get better, so just wishing for a better one next time.
I may just go to the paid centers where they do 4d pictures.

Questions: how common is it for baby to switch positions at this point? Two weeks ago, baby was breech, but now is head down. I'd like to keep it that way

@chelleylin Not sure how often they change positions, but it sure feels like a lot! I went from barely feeling anything to little kicks all over - my husband even felt her for the first time this past Saturday.

How are you feeling? Really excited that my husband finally got to feel her too!  She kept catching me in the same spot while I was eating breakfast, so I had him come over and he got to feel her too. Definitely made both of our days!  Also excited that we leave for our Babymoon tomorrow (so I apologize in advance if I don't get the daily prompts out).

Raves/Rants: I can't take the itching anymore! I went back to the dermatologist last week because this rash is back again and itchier than ever.  I pointed out that is is literally only on my legs, pubic area, and now armpits (so in other words, all places I shave) and they pretty much think that the extra hormones and such are giving me horrible razor burn and put me back on a steroid cream and a topical antibiotic.  I have another follow-up when we're back from our Babymoon.

Questions: Does anyone else have any just bizarre symptoms that no one mentions? I was ready for nausea, heartburn, backaches, etc. but did not expect to have itchy rashes everywhere that I shave. 😫

Upcoming appointments: Cervical length check Wednesday of next week

How are you feeling: Overall pretty good. My back is getting a little achy and my tummy just feels sooooooo heavy all the time. 

Raves/Rants:  I'm really concerned about my cervical length. At my last check, the length was 3.1 cm. The last one was over 4cm two weeks prior. Just feels like it's whittling away too fast. If I were at viability, I would feel better. Being before 24 weeks has me walking on eggshells. I'm really trying to take it easy. I messaged the Dr and they said the length is within the normal range. My friend who also has an incompetent cervix was given a preventative cerclage. I'm not understanding why that wasn't offered to me.  Anyway, at my next appointment if things continue to shorten quickly, I'm going to stay until I can speak to a Dr.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. I had a dizzy spell on Friday which scared me a little but thankfully I had a doctor's appointment scheduled for Monday and she said it didn't seem like anything to worry about. Perhaps my blood pressure dropped from laying down and standing up to quickly. I've been fine since. 

Raves/Rants: Lately my dog won't walk with me. It's so weird he is just over two and we have walked together everyday until a few weeks ago. He gets excited when I tell him we are going but then when we get to any of the trails he won't budge. He'll just sit there an look at me. Sometimes I wonder if it because I'm pregnant and that's why, but it could also be because he is an English Bulldog and reaching maturity and he is just being a jerk 😅 Either way I'm slightly offended!

@dmcg17 I hope you have a great time on your babymoon and the rash doesn't bother you too much while you are trying to enjoy your vacation!

@clt2pwm11 I can only imagine how that has to weigh on the back of your mind all the time. Hopefully the next appointment there is no more shrinkage and give you some piece of mind. It's so hard to focus an anything but the baby at this point!!

How are you feeling? Feeling good! I’ve accepted the fact that I will constantly wake up from hip pain.

Raves/Rants: had my 2nd anatomy scan last Thursday and everything is looking good! So reassuring!

Upcoming appointments: I have another ultrasound to take a look at the spot on his heart. Then next month should be the gestational diabetes one! 

How are you feeling? I’ve been feeling good, trucking along okay!

Raves/Rants: my boy starts preK soon and it’ll only be half days for three days a week but my mama heart is heavy ❤️ we had him in daycare for three days a week when he was two/two in a half and they ended up kicking him out for pulling a little girls hair. I blamed myself a lot for what happened but I also remembered how young he was and how much he’s grown. I can’t help but be nervous. 

Questions: has anyone ever gotten a hernia while pregnant, they found a small one by my belly button this go around. I know it won’t cause much trouble but I was just curious

@chelleylin My last baby was breech at 36 weeks and head down at 37! That was later than usual, but I think beyond 30 weeks is completely normal. 

@clt2pwm11 I had a lot of cervical length variation in my first pregnancy. We eventually determined it was correlated with stress and I was put on 50% for work. I don't have the info in front of my, but I THINK it was only considered a "problem" at below 3cm, so you may still be within normal range. Definitely ask your doctor, though! 

@nerakh246 Sorry, but I totally laughed at your dog story! At our old apartment our daily dog walk included a (small) ramp. Sometime around third tri I started to struggle walking up it and my dog would just look back at me all judgemental  

@madimom95 They kicked your 2yo out for hair pulling?! That's, like, classic 2yo behavior and something they should be prepared to deal with. But I totally relate to the feeling of sending your first kid off! I used to watch the clock until I could pick him up. I was so grateful for it once his brother arrived, though.

How are you feeling? Heavy. We've been at the beach and every time I walk out of the water my heavy belly hits me like a rock - I am physically lifting it up when I climb out  

Acid reflux is officially here, blegh. Also had my first Braxton Hicks. 

Raves/Rants: My husband felt baby move twice this week Although on the other hand, when I was commenting on my heavy belly he pointed out I have also gained weight on my thighs. Thanks, man.

@booksandicecream I'm trying to take it easy! I actually quit my job when I found out I was pregnant (high stress environment). I have been chasing my six year old around all summer, but I've been really cognizant about resting. I wish my doctor would answer my message!

Upcoming appointments: Regular checkup in a few weeks. Just had my anatomy scan and everything looked great! Thank you Jesus! 🙌🏽

How are you feeling? My lower back is killing me…yikes! 

Raves/Rants: My first day back to school was yesterday and boy was I exhausted when I got home lol. Also, I felt baby move from the outside a couple of times but when I grabbed my husband’s hand to feel him, of course he didn’t move haha

@booksandicecream it was definitely strange they would pull him into the office for not listening and being silly too of course but the lady that was a co owner of the place coined it off that he had behavioral issues and said it would get worst if we didn’t look into it. We went to his doctor and he said he was a normal 2 1/2 year old boy. I think they had too many kids and he was the labeled “problem child.” And wanted to make space for somebody else but it’s all good. He’s doing better now
