Can you get a negative and then a positive

Hello all! trying to conceive after a miscarriage in may. Been doing OPKs. Just want to know if anyone has got a negative pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation and then has gone on to have a positive test? Maybe I’m just hoping it will change. I’m 37 and feeling like I’m running out of time.
