I had a small fall... should I contact my OB?

Had an appointment this morning and everything was just peachy (except perhaps my low blood pressure). Then not four hours later I took a bit of a spill on my bicycle breaking as I went around a corner on a gravel path (and I thought staying away from cars would be safe)! No injuries, and no direct trauma to my belly. I now have some abdominal pains, but that might just be normal (or possibly psychosomatic). At what point does one follow-up with the doctor?

  • I would think everything should be fine but I’m a proponent for it never hurts to call and check in. πŸ’œ

  • yup! My OB said not to worry. They would have checked on baby if it was 20+ weeks, but 14 is still early enough not to be concerned.Β
