The last few days have been nuts. My husband has been on a don't trust doctors bingr lately and its making the rest of this pregnancy a nightmare. He wants a lotus birth & I dont. A few days ago I eas diagnosed with preeclampsia and sent to labor and delivery so they could bring my pressure down. He threw a fit and wouldn't let them give me anything. We left and my pressure is still through the roof. Ugh just needed to vent.

Oh my god! I’m so sorry! This is YOUR body, not his and the health of you and your baby trumps ANYTHING he says. He’s endangering your life/health as well as your baby’s with these unfounded, ill-researched conspiracies and frankly it’s dangerous. Honey, next time this happens, take yourself to the hospital and do what the smart, educated and highly trained doctors say. They’re the ones who went to actual medical school, not the university of Facebook like your partner. YOU have the birth YOU feel comfortable with, not him. And if you need help, call 800-799-7233 which is a helpline for people whose “partners” are exhibiting controlling or potentially violent behavior. What he is doing is NOT okay.

Hey honey, can you let us know if you are okay? I know you posted this a little while ago, but high blood pressure is very serious. I hope you got to go back to the hospital. What your husband is doing is not okay, taking care of yourself and your baby is the priority.

Yes, please update. I hope you are able to explain to him that this pregnancy is yours to take control of and that your health is just as important as the baby's. 💕
