IUI Pregnancy, Small Fetal Pole, Low Heart Rate at 7 Week U/S

I’m 43 and got pregnant with donor sperm on my first IUI. I was feeling cocky because I beat the odds of even getting pregnant. 😊 Now I’m feeling otherwise because at the 7.5 week U/S the fetal pole was over a week too small and the heart rate was very low. My fertility doctor will check again next week. With my advanced age (old crone, huh?) and the not so ideal circumstances of the fetus, my doc says there’s a high chance of miscarriage. I’m looking for stories similar to mine.
