I just had a similar experience, and this is also my first pregnancy, so I totally understand the anxiety here. I ended up going to ER because I was incredibly panicked, it was the weekend, and I wasn’t able to call the doctor’s office. When I saw my doctor the next day she told me that spotting is something that can definitely happen, but she would be way more concerned if the spotting was bright red. She told me to come back in (or go back to ER) if I was filling 1 pad per hour.
My spotting stopped after 2-3 days, and I’ve been instructed to avoid strenuous activity for 7 days, just to be on the safe side, but otherwise to proceed as normal. Fingers crossed that you’re experiencing something similar! Be kind to yourself, and if you can, try not to focus on the worst case scenario (though I know this is way easier said than done). ❤️❤️❤️
Totally normal! I had that for a few days as well. Think it was just old blood leaving the body. It would be more concerning if it was bright red, for sure.
