Help with a middle name to honor my Poppie who passed

Hello! We are expecting our first baby , a lil boy, in January. His first name is Renley however we are struggling on a middle name! My Poppie was a huge part of my life and I wanted to honor him by including him in Renley's name. His name was Frank Michael. So I've thought of a few but nothing seems right. A few we considered are:
Renley Frank Shroyer
Renley Michael Shroyer
Renley Franklin Shroyer
Renley Francis Shroyer
And combos of these and Arthur which is his dad's middle name , as well as looking for other names that mean "free" like Frank does.
I'm at a loss. Micheal sounds the best I think but I feel it's very common and we like unusual names. So, figured I'd get some other options

Michael. It's "common" in that it's very familiar but I don't think that many people use it these days. I don't worry about a middle name being common especially if it's special to the family.

Sorry, once I read the name Renly my mind automatically went to the Ren and Stimpy show.  I would go with Michael of your choices.  If your kiddo decides that he doesn't like his first name Michael is a great alternative - IMO.

Michael is not as common as you think, I've worked in a school for the past 5 years and met only 1 Michael that entire time.  It's refreshing to hear more traditional names. 

Also it's a middle name, unless a kid decided that they don't like their first name and decide to go by their middle name - it happens way more than you think because people hate the 1st name parents give them --you will not hear or use it that often.
