Placenta Previa

Hi all! I just got diagnosed with placenta previa at 14w4d. My doctor reassured me that most cases of low-lying placentas resolve before the end of pregnancy. I can’t help feeling a little nervous though. Does anyone else have experience with this?

Aw I’m so sorry this is happening! I had a low lying placenta with my last pregnancy, it caused some scary bleeding in my first trimester. It moved up as the pregnancy went on—I did get a couple extra scans to be sure everything was ok. And by delivery it wasn’t anywhere near close!

Mine was borderline at my 20 week US, so like @quiltandknit I had an extra scan but it moved enough so all was well. There is plenty of time for it to move, so I hope it does for you!
