Upcoming appointments: Had a midwife check up today and all was great. I meet with the hospital next week and then my 32 week ultrasound the week after that to check kidneys and growth again.  

How are you feeling: still the same! Today I was putting on my jumpsuit and wondered why it was tight going on. 😂 oh yeah I’m pregnant and there’s a belly! It fit fine once on but I didn’t unbutton it so it was tight going over the belly. So still forgetting I’m pregnant! 

Rants / Raves: I really need to finish figuring out what I have left to order to get all the kids rooms ready and done. I also want to finish off our bedroom. So I need to plan and order.

Yeah not really! I’ve been buying stuff and then just dumping it in the future nursery room. I’ve never before had a baby room to be set up in advance - it’s usually a corner of our room - so this is exciting for me!

I was thinking of setting up the Facebook group. Anyone want to admin and screen with me? A nice way to get to know each other a little better. A small group but maybe that’s nice?

How are you feeling: terrible. I am in so much pain in my hips, pelvic bone area and lower back. The heartburn/acid reflux wakes me up twice a night at least even with meds. I scared my husband last night cause I woke up choking on acid and couldn't get it out 😓 

Rants / Raves: nothing much, finally a few weeks to settle down before school and baby are here!

GTKY: How far along are you on baby prep? Are you the person who does it all in advance or not? Well ......I haven't had a nursery for a baby since my oldest was born. He was the only one to ever actually have a room of his own. So I have all these beautiful space themed things I want and haven't gotten yet 😂 his room has a crib, a dresser, two totes of clothes from my older boys and a tonnnn of blankets. I gotta get the carseat I want because my middle son's really nice one got mold on it in the storage unit 😭😭 actually, a lot of Killian's things got moldy, like his swing, playpen and little sit me up seat. So I have them all picked out, just buying things slowly. Since our room is downstairs and the kids are all upstairs, baby will start in our room. So I have to get a bassinet or the playpen with the attachment next. I'm so behind for this baby though 😅😅

How are you feeling: good! it's so flipping hot here though, and humid. so thankful for our pool membership. def have some shortness of breath going from the basement up to the bedroom (laundry!) and my husband keep asking if i'm ok... just pregnant m'dear! 

Rants / Raves: our daughter is officially in her twin bed and the crib is packed up. between having two weeks off of school she's a bit out of sorts at bedtime which is tough. it's taking 1-2 hours for her to fall asleep, and i'm just not sure what to do tbh. starting yesterday we are no screens and trying to run some more energy out. she does nap at preschool, and i don't think that is helping tbh. we started getting baby stuff down - infant bases installed, the seat is in my car, the snoo is in my office in the box. and we held on to boxes for other expensive items in case they broke - we recycled those. felt really good to start purging. we've held on to everything, and i'm thankful for that. but this is the final baby and i can't wait to donate/sell things as i wrap up using them.

GTKY: How far along are you on baby prep? Are you the person who does it all in advance or not? ha see above, we still need to get the baby bjorn, bottle sterilizer, play mat/baby toys and clothes down from the attic. i *think* that is it. i had bought the sibling seat for our stroller ages ago when i realized they were discontinuing the fabric, so that is also up there but not needed at the moment. i need to buy some new pump parts, diapers and cream, and like i think that's really it? i think i'm spending more thought/money buying our daughter big sisters presents than on the new baby. LOL. that reminds me, maybe i'll buy the new baby a cute going home from the hospital outfit.

How are you feeling: uncomfortable. I bought a cushion for my office chair on prime day and I'm hoping that helps my hips, back and butt feel better at the end of the day. Breathing continues to become more challenging.

Rants / Raves: baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead 😳 my MFM said at least I'm already having a C-section 😅 I was nervous for my glucose test because of this but I passed! Also the placenta looks great! My MFM said usually with placenta accreta they can see a see small difference in the placenta at this time if they really look (like the texture might be off), so that is a relief. That paired with scheduling my C-section is helping me to feel optimistic that I won't have a repeat of DD's birth.

GTKY: How far along are you on baby prep? Are you the person who does it all in advance or not? I think I'm doing pretty good! We got the crib and most of the dresser assembled over the weekend! I saved most stuff from DD and got boy hand me down clothes from my SIL and once the dresser is fully assembled I just need to organize everything! I do it all in advance, everything will most likely be ready when baby arrives.

How are you feeling: honestly a lot better. Getting spurts of energy (which I had none of the first two trimesters…I have HG). Still get tired and out of breath, but happy to have moments where I am getting stuff done.

Ready for this to be over! Being pregnant is not for me. I’m tired of being tired and out of breath, not sleeping well, etc.

My husband and I just built the crib last night! Nursery is coming together, just need a few more things. I also need to pack my hospital bag, but have been putting it off.

How are you feeling: Exhausted, my whole downstairs area is a little swollen, it’s uncomfortable. 

Rants / Raves: My husband spent all morning, day and night with our girls yesterday so I could have a day to myself. Slept in, had a shower, went to my doc appointment, went for lunch and did some shopping with a friend. Then went with some other girl friends to a baseball game. He’s bomb, this mama needed it.

My DD#2 was born in October so my nursery is already set up. She will be moving in with DD#1 who is 2 1/2 at the end of this month so I have that to do. I want all of us to get well adjusted to that move before baby comes so I might start on it sooner. Other than that I have everything I need. I have a few boy items but if baby is a boy I’ll have to do some shopping after the birth as all my stuff is pink haha

Rants / Raves: Just got back from my growth US. Baby is close to the mid percentile, so I was reassured. The head is so low already, the technician had such a hard time seeing the cervix. She had to press so hard and it hurt so much.

GTKY: How far along are you on baby prep? Are you the person who does it all in advance or not? Usually I'm ready way in advance and everything is all planned out, but it's something I wasn't ready to do yet. I've just started preparing and I'm far from done.

I am definitely someone who likes to plan in advance, but it's been tough! I always find something new that I need to do. So far, nursery is 95% complete, just waiting on a chair to be delivered. Also been trying to pack hospital bag as I go, but nothing is complete yet and probably won't be until the last minute...
