4 losses, lupus anticoagulant antibodies, secondary infertility. 

Status: benched until I heal from this last d and c (June 27) 

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well?

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Waiting on genetic testing from our most recent loss.

i had the bleeding basically stop, and then I was at a store and suddenly (like in under 15 minutes) filled a pad, rushed to the restroom and changed it and did it again- then it just stopped. Anyone ever have that happen? I seem to be okay now. 

Also the nearest hospital to us is a Catholic one. I know the care they will give for pregnancy (loss) is more limited- has any one had experience with that? The other hospital in town is reputed to be terrible, but we could drive about 30 minutes to a better hospital if needed. 

GTKY: how do you celebrate 4th of July? We didn’t really this year. It was very wet! We were over at our new house painting.

@charmedlifex3 I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. Heavy bleeding is always concerning. I hope it’s better now and you’re feeling OK. 

I had something similar after my D&C, but the pattern continued for over a month. I would have a couple days with no bleeding then super super heavy bleeding for a day or two, then back to nothing. Through a follow up ultrasound and beta HCG draws we found out there was a small amount of tissue left behind. My OBGYN tracked the HCG down to below 5 so I didn’t need another D&C. I feel like the heavy bleeding was my body trying to expel it, and it did eventually. I don’t know for sure, but I also think this is what caused the scar tissue I just had removed. 

I really hope this isn’t what you are dealing with, but just wanted to share the experience in case you are finding yourself in a similar situation. I’ll be thinking of you.

@maggiemadeit I’m doing much better- it’s completely stopped. 

I’m going to the RE on the 7th to try to get help, and I think imaging is likely first up on the table due to my history of scarring so I think they’ll catch it quickly if something like that os going on. Fingers croase
