Spotting on Progesterone Suppositories

I am currently 5 weeks pregnant with our baby #3.
Since I have suffered a miscarriage before my OB has placed me on progesterone 600mg suppositories to use once daily. Last night was my first time to use them. This morning I had some spotting when wiping. I haven’t had any spotting thus far and not much cramping at all. I reached out to the nurse to see if this is a cause for concern. But, of course I’ve been googling and see that this can be common from using the suppositories and it causing vaginal irritation. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before? Reassurance would help me from overthinking and over worrying. 😕

Yes, this is common with progesterone suppositories.

I was on progesterone and also had spotting starting at 6 weeks, I am now almost 12 weeks. My OBGYN said that can be common with progesterone.
