Trying to Get Pregnant

Fallopian Tube Blockage

Having a hard time conceiving and my dr referred me to a fertility specialist where I was sent to run some test. I had a Hysterosalpingography (HSG) test and it looks like one fallopian tube may have blockage. I was then referred to another doctor who thinks my only problem is a weak pelvic floor. I have miscarried before and because I technically have been pregnant before they are not concerned or worried and have only been referred to physical therapy to strengthen my pelvic floor. I am not sure what to do or if anyone has experienced anything like this but I feel like I don’t know what to do or where to turn to for help. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

  • Your second post/comment is incredibly hurtful. Many women here have been trying for multiple years with zero success. Please read the instructions for the group before you post.
  • Comment was not meant in anyway shape or form to be hurtful. The only reason I mentioned how long I have been trying to conceive for was because it is a huge concern for me yet doctors don’t seem concerned at all.

Your comment also seems insensitive considering it lacks empathy when someone is crying out for help.
  • @anonymous_678_000 I see you deleted your second comment so I can't see what you wrote, but I don’t think @reallyamermaid is being insensitive. There are quite a few of us that have been here for years. One off posts like this are not recommended because they clutter up the forum and usually you are asking for support/help, but don't offer any support in return and then disappear. We recommend introducing yourself in the Newbie Thread, and if you are going through fertility treatments, you can also join the IF Weekly Threads as well.
