Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: team still-waiting-to-find-out!
Upcoming appointments: Nothing until my NIPT blood draw and scan at 12+5.
How are you feeling? Ok. Main symptom is still fatigue. Also just anxious. Complications in my last pregnancy started at 11+2, so I am REALLY looking forward to being past that this time.
Raves/Rants: Not really a rant, but this first trimester is really dragging. I'm looking forward to feeling some movement so I'm not nervous all the time.
@booksandicecream I hear you - I can't wait to start feeling some movement!
EDD/Weeks + days: 12w5d - 12/9
Baby is the size of a(n): Lemon according to The Bump and a roll of film according to BabyList
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Team Pink!
Upcoming appointments: Just had one today; next three are 6/26, 7/17, and 8/22
How are you feeling? Feeling good. Definitely still getting very tired in the afternoons, but the nausea and heartburn isn't as frequent, so that's nice.
Raves/Rants: Just shared with news with our families this past weekend and started sharing with extended family/close friends this week. Makes it feel a little bit more real now that I can talk about it with people other than my husband.
Questions: What do you recommend in terms of maternity bras? Mine are all getting super tight, but I have no clue what my new size would be and how long they'll keep growing.
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: team green til gender reveal on July 8! Eeek!!
Upcoming appointments: NT scan on Monday 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
How are you feeling? Cruising into the second trimester feeling so much better. But also still anxious about my scan Monday. Assuming at this point it never goes away.
Raves/Rants: I can eat again! Woohooo!! Also the bump is clearly visible and growing 🥰
@stashattack if you’re out there give us a 👋🏻 and hope everything’s OK!
@dogmom512 Ahhh yay, can't wait for the gender reveal for you! Totally get the anxious feeling; I just had an appointment yesterday and was anxious up until I could see her moving around in there. I'm hoping that once I start to look a bit more pregnant and start to feel movement I'll cool down a bit, haha.
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Still holding out for Team Green! 💚
Upcoming appointments: I was worked in today after fainting in my neighbor’s driveway last night. Good news… I got to see our babe as a surprise today. Even better news… baby is healthy and thriving still! And they think it was just me getting overheated and standing too long.
How are you feeling? Last night was really scary, and definitely made me realize that I’m a bit more fragile than I was pre-pregnancy. And of course, my anxiety has been insane the last 24 hours. But physically, I’ve recovered from the fainting spell and feel great!
Raves/Rants: Some of our family is stressing me out! But trying to just ignore the unwanted opinions and not let it get to me!
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: We did sneak peek - we are having a girl! Three girls for us, our daughters (11 and 8) are so excited.
Upcoming appointments: 6/13 for another ultrasound and check up. Waiting for NIPT tests to come back as well.
How are you feeling? I feel great - best I’ve ever felt during the first trimester. Sore breasts and more tired that usual, but other than that I really haven’t had any other symptoms. Super thankful!
Raves/Rants: Ready to be showing more. This is my third pregnancy so I can definitely tell, but kind of in that in between where you don’t definitely look pregnant to others.
@dmcg17 I bought a bravada nursing bra during my first pregnancy and it is the greatest bra ever. I wanted a second one for this pregnancy but it seems that style is discontinued. I just ordered another bravada bra in a different style yesterday. I found my cup size was constant after the first trimester, but your band size will still go up once baby gets into your ribcage. And the first few weeks of nursing are out-of-this-world watermelon boobs, but it goes back to pregnancy size pretty quickly.
@makenzie_e So sorry to hear about your family being less supportive than you'd hoped. My family's reactions during my first two pregnancies are the reason we're waiting so long to share this time. If you or your partner are the assertive type, it may be best to lay some ground rules now. At least for me, the unwanted opinions got way worse after the baby was born. Good luck!
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: hoping for team pink but we will just have to wait and see!
Upcoming appointments: I’ve got my 16 week app in a couple of weeks!
How are you feeling? I’m feeling pretty good my nausea has pretty much subsided and my energy is easing up a bit
Raves/Rants: trying to stay productive and be on top of things with an active 3.5 year old boy has been tough. My hubby has been a huge help while working and trying to finish up online college. I’m really thankful for him and I hope he can get the rest he needs soon too. These next couple of month are jam packed our lease ends around the time in due and I pray we either find a house or things fall in to place smoothly, either way I’m thankful God had been good even when it’s been busy!
@booksandicecream Thank you so much! Neither of us are very assertive, but we’re finding that we’re going to have to be… they are def getting more and more frequent and we’re only at the end of the first trimester! 🤣
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: My intuition strongly says girl but we will find out in 7-10 business when our NIPT comes back
Upcoming appointments: Had my 12 week appointment today. 16 and 20 week appointments are both already scheduled.
How are you feeling? Still taking B6 and Unisom to control the nausea, but it’s much better. My appetite is starting to come back. I get jolts of energy but am usually still pretty tired come afternoon.
Raves/Rants: Got to see my little one kicks it’s feet today ❤️ I was anxious for this appointment. I had no symptoms that anything was wrong, but just needed the assurance that baby was still in there. I’m looking forward to starting to feel movement!!! We went to baby/pregnancy exhibit thing this past week. They had educational lectures and vendors to demo different things. I’m a little panicked about picking the right baby gear now, but just trying to take it one thing at a time. 😅
Questions: I see everybody talking about their breasts growing. I had some soreness, but no noticeable change in size yet. Anybody else have this? I’m anxious about being able to breastfeed as both my mother and grandmother were not able to produce enough to feed their babies. So taking any and all advice that I can do to boost my chances of success.
@parthi_baby Do you have access to a midwife or lactation consultant for right after the birth? I had a midwife come to my house the first few days I was home and it was SO helpful. I had the opposite problem - too much milk - and she helped me with latching and feeds and did weigh-ins to assess how much I was producing vs how much baby needed. She helped me reduce my supply to the right amount. Plus it was just so reassuring to see baby's growth being right on track. Definitely recommend!
Anyone else go from feeling super sick for weeks to not feeling sick at all anymore?! I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I'm trying not to worry because I was sick ALL DAY the last 6 weeks.

@clt2pwm11 That's totally normal! As you get closer to the second trimester, symptoms can start to fade and you'll feel more "normal" again. I have read all the weekly updates because I want to know what I should be expecting and what's considered normal.
@clt2pwm11 Similar experience here! I’ll be 14 weeks tomorrow, and around week 12, the nausea lightened up and I began to feel more and more like myself! My doctor called it the second trimester glow up 🤣
Thanks for commenting guys! I had 4 days where I felt completely normal and then today I woke up sick as a dog again 😂. This is my second pregnancy and very different from my first.
