Hi all. I am sorry if this is a sensitive topic but I wanted to come in here and check if anybody has had a similar experience as mine. As per my LMP, I am 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. However, I started spotting a week ago, it increases to bleeding and then goes back to spotting, it has been steady for some time now and is dark brown. Due to my hx of miscarriages, I went to the urgent care. My Hcg on 5/20 was 11,233 and then on 5/22 was 17433. I got an ultrasound does on 5/23 just to check if it is growing in the right spot. Looks like it is, but the ultrasound tech says the gestational sac is too small to date, mean diameter 1.0 cm and that there are no yolk sac and or fetal pole to be seen yet. He says, it looks like an early stage pregnancy week 2 or 3. My doctor another Hcg done today and I am awaiting the results. I did a bit of research online and I am very conflicted. It says I might either have had a miscarriage or that it is too early in the pregnancy, but I also read that a fetal heartbeat is seen at 17000. Has anybody had a similar experience?
