What number are you trying for? 3, but first two are adopted / being adopted
Month/Cycle? 6/6
WTO/TWW? TWW
Ages of other child(ren)? 4 and 5
Any thoughts about this cycle? Timing wasn’t good, so not holding out much hope
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave? Tomorrow is H and my 9 year anniversary! We are celebrating this weekend though. The kids will be spending a night at my parents’ house, so that will be nice.
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? I’m definitely more of an early bird than a night owl, but I don’t wake up super early either. I’d probably get up around 8 if I didn’t have young kids.
What number are you trying for? 3 (but 1 is adopted)
Month/Cycle? 2/2
WTO/TWW? TWW. AF is expected 5/31
Ages of other child(ren)? 17 and 6
Any thoughts about this cycle? Not holding out a ton of hope. I don’t feel any symptoms at all.
Any questions? Do you guys know approximately what CD you ovulate? My app always says around day 14, and I get my EWCM around day 12, so I’m always thinking maybe I ovulate early?
This weekend (CD 17) I had some verrry noticeable cramping and low back pain. I usually feel ovulation cramps monthly but this felt more like a period coming. But no symptoms since then. So, now I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t implantation cramps and just super late ovulation?
(I realize there’s really no question here, just the rantings of a very frustrated woman looking for other people’s thoughts) 🙃
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? Early bird! I’m my most clear and productive before noon.
Any thoughts about this cycle? I went off bc a couple of months ago (Nexplanon), and have been giving a couple of months to let my cycle settle back. This is our first month trying, and I'm still not super confident of my O date, so I'm not sure about timing. Also, now that I'm 36, I'm not so sure about how my fertility will be. When we had my older kid, it took a year and 2 losses before we had him, but our second was a surprise, so 🤷🏻♀️
Any questions?
Rant/Rave? Ugh, the end of the school year is just nuts. I'm so overwhelmed and burnt out 😭
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? Neither? Haha 😅 I like getting up early until it's time to actually wake up. But I definitely am not a night owl - I'm pretty much out by 9:30 pm 😴

@peacefulmockingbird What app do you use to track? I use fertility friend and it tells me when I likely ovulated based on my bbt. It's not perfect, but it does help...

Any thoughts about this cycle? First month using OPKs so interested to see how that goes! I think my O day is actually earlier than I'd been assuming in the past but I'll know more now with OPKs.
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave? Work is insane. My coworker quit and we are a small company so my workload doubled overnight. But I'm managing somehow lol.
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? Definitely a night owl!
@charmedlifex3 AC for the win lol! Our apartment only had window units and I was SO GLAD to have central again when we bought our home.
@peacefulmockingbird so I think I ovulate early too. My cycles are short anyways (24 to 26 days usually) and I was assuming I O'd around CD14 but last cycle I felt ovulation cramps on CD10. I bought OPKs for this cycle to hopefully get a more accurate idea of when I O.
@hedgepig so cool to be with you on the bump again, lol!
@britters314 happy belated anniversary! Enjoy celebrating this weekend 🥳
@charmedlifex3 heat pumps are quite energy efficient right? glad you finally have some relief from the heat! We usually set our thermostat to at least 74 which I know is pretty warm for a lot of people 😂
@peacefulmockingbird as an engineer I like having all the data so even though I pretty much know my typical O date range I still like getting the confirmation with OPKs and temping. It's worth it to give yourself the best chance.
@bserena oof that sounds rough with workload! They do plan on finding a replacement right??
What number are you trying for? 2
Month/Cycle? Still NTNP
WTO/TWW? TWW
Ages of other child(ren)? 10 months - don't mind me just freaking out that I almost have a 1 year old 🥹
Any thoughts about this cycle? Today we are 8dpo so I'm curious how my BBT will continue to give me some kind of indicator for LP length. Last cycle was a nice solid 11 days so I hope we keep that up or go longer and back to my normal 13. 13 days made it so easy. If ovulation was on. Tuesday I knew to expect AF 2 Tuesdays from then haha.
Any questions? What milk supply boosts did you find worked for you? I'm already taking a moringa supplement that may or may not be helping. Supply hasn't bumped back up after this last period. It always likes to dip after it arrives. Maybe I just need to be sure I nurse before feeding solids but that's hard to do sometimes depending on schedules. It's not like my supply has really gone down since I got 8oz from my morning pump session that was 8 hours after DS last nursed....
Rant/Rave? It's been fairly warm lately yay! I also completely forgot that we have a long weekend coming up with memorial day.
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? A bit of both I guess. I can easily stay up pretty late although sometimes I'm falling asleep on the couch at 9pm. But I do love waking up early. It feels amazing to get some stuff done and realize it's only 8 or 9am. I actually find it a bit exciting to wake up before the sun to make 5am flights for business trips 😅

@inthewoods23 no replacement, I've been promoted to a "senior" account manager and been given a small raise to do both jobs. Which is nice, but also I'm drowning 😅 it'll get better though I think, just crazy during the transition and trying to get caught up on all of the stuff he was doing.
Also - you may not remember me but I was here for a bit in 2019 and it's awesome to see you in here with a 10 month old! For me, none of the stuff really helped with supply. Just making sure I drank tons of water, ate enough calories, and nursed plenty lol.
@peacefulmockingbird Fertility Friend is probably the most popular app among people on this board. Also if you want a refresher on TTC info, the Newbie Guide has a bunch of info and some book recommendations
@bserena that sounds so stressful! Hopefully the adjustment period is short and you get your feet out from under you soon 🤪. I do remember you! Took forever for me to get out of here, but I did it! Lol. I think I do need to be better about drinking water. Some days I have a few things on my desk to drink like water + something hot. Other days I really only have something to drink at lunch that I finish up into the afternoon.
Maybe a UO, but FF has the ugliest user interface of all the period tracking apps 😂. I really don't like the Premom app interface either but still use it to track my OPK lines.

WTO/TWW? TWW - beta is Monday but I’ll be testing before then, for sure!
Ages of other child(ren)? 4, almost 2!
Any thoughts about this cycle? Trying not to SS like crazy.
Any questions? Nope
Rant/Rave? Birthday planning and prep is going pretty well. My little one turns 2 on Monday and I’ll be attempting a Pete the Cat cake. Feels doable. Ask me again this weekend, though!
GTKY: Are you a night owl or an early bird? My children are making me an early bird! Preference is mid range, though.
@inthewoods23 lactation cookies. If they don’t work, at least you get a cookie! I just made my fav oatmeal cookie recipe and added flax and brewers yeast. And all the water.
@charmedlifex3 We go til June 8th, so I guess I'm officially in the TWW for the end of the year 🤣
@peacefulmockingbird@bserena Short cycles here too 🙋♀️ My LP tends be to be a little short, and then this month it looks like I ovulated on CD 10 (or possibly 12), which is extra early and has me a little worried. Hopefully it isn't a trend...
@inthewoods23 Before I got pregnant with my younger child, I was still BF as we approached my older son's 2nd birthday. My LPs were super short (7, 8, 9 days), but as I started weaning him my LP suddenly lengthened and that's when I got pregnant. Probably not super helpful for you, since your LO is still little and you are looking to increase supply, but also just to say that when you do slow/stop BF it may also help with your cycle length.
@mambo5-2 Were you on here when you were TTC your 5yo? I feel like you seem familiar?

Rant/Rave? Random rave: I just found a silicone play tea set on Amazon. It is food safe and I don't have to worry about my 3 and 1 year old breaking cups! I use a milk frother and add a sprinkle of cinnamon and they drink their "coffee" with me in the morning.

Month/Cycle? 5/3
@peacefulmockingbird @bserena Short cycles here too 🙋♀️ My LP tends be to be a little short, and then this month it looks like I ovulated on CD 10 (or possibly 12), which is extra early and has me a little worried.
