Hey y'all! 👋 I was active here back in 2017-2018 when TTC my son, and have been lurking around for a bit here, so I thought it's about time I jumped in! Thanks for having me 💜

Ages (you and SO): I'm 36 and DH is 35

How many months have you been TTC?: This is our first month not preventing 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: charting, temping, well timed sex 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.)
We have two kiddos - DS is 5 and DD is 2, and we're hoping to complete our family with a third. I'm a teacher, trying to survive the end of the year. We live off grid in the mountains of northern California, and I like to quilt, cook, sew clothes, read, and play nerdy games.

Hello. My name is Justin, age 32. My fiancee is Amber, age 31.

How many months have you been TTC?: NTNP for a few months and actually started TTC about 2 months ago.

What are you doing: OPK, medications, specialist visit

Little about us: We have been together for almost 10 years. If I had it to go over, we would have started trying at least not preventing sooner than we did, since I was the big holdout, which I have my reasons for. We live, learn, and get to know ourselves more every day though.

I myself was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 2 years old. Meaning I am fast approaching my 30 year marker for my diagnosis. With that being said, it's pretty common knowledge that diabetes can make conception a very long and difficult road. We came to realize that I have a condition called retrograde ejaculation, which I have seen a urologist for and had confirmed with testing. Honestly, I'm really struggling to accept or deal with this information, and I hope we haven't waited too late. Good news though, the urologist did tell me about a medication that can be taken short term to assist with the condition that I have been taking for almost a month. At this point I keep telling myself that 2 months of actually trying is nothing in many cases, and it could be a long time for any possible success.

I stumbled across this group one night when doing a little research of my own and considered making an account. Then I did and kind of forgot about it. I rediscovered it, signed in, and told myself nobody here knows me and it might help to talk about everything. Maybe someone else has been through this too.

How many months have you been TTC?: Seriously trying for the last couple months. But been casually trying for the last 6 months.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: opk, prenatal, drinking extra water and cutting back on caffeine and alcohol.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I have five girls (12, 10, 7, 3, and 1 1/2 year old). We have a dog and two cats. I'm a stay at home mom, my husband works in mental health. I love to crochet, I'm teaching myself how to knit, I love to read when I can find the time, and cooking.  We are trying for our last baby ❤️.

@justinlee90 I can relate to feeling like you waited too long. I'm 36 and DH is 37. We weren't sure if we were going to try for a child but here we are and wishing we started sooner.

How many months have you been TTC?: 0

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: not much right now. Missed my FW this cycle. H just said yesterday that he’s interested in TFAS. So we’ll start trying next cycle ! I’m on CD 17 so would be in TWW if we had timing. I ovulate early sometimes. I had Mirena until jan & luckily it seems like my body has been doing what it needs to. H and I have a pretty non-existent intimate life but that’s normal for us. I‘M still nursing my son but hoping to wean soon. Plan is PNV, CM, and try to hit good timing.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) we have been married for 4.5 years and have a 2.5 year old (sept2020). We have two dogs & a cat & live in WA state. I’ve been wanting another baby for a while but I’m kind of panicking about daycare??? COL is high so we can’t survive on one income. I guess we’ll figure it out somehow! Other than working full time and parenting I enjoy watching tv and playing games. Also learning to navigate my mental health and the challenges that come with it.

Ive been around the bump for a long time and probably need to update my sig at some point

We are just trying well-times sex and cervix checking right now.

Welcome @justinlee90! I can relate, my husband and I have been married for 12 years. We’re the  black sheep of our families for not getting pregnant immediately. I don’t regret the time we had to get to know each other and mature as a couple, but it’s time!
