I was wondering opinions on baby sprinkle & diaper party for baby #2.
We are currently expecting our 2nd baby (girl) (the 1st ever girl on my husbands side) due in September. We had a shower and diaper party for our son (13 months) so we don’t need the big stuff but would love to celebrate our little girl.

I did that. For my second I had a “meet & greet”. I told people on the invitation that no gifts were needed but if they wanted to buy something, please bring (the brand you like) wipes or diapers any size. It worked. I got lots of wipes and diapers and it was awesome. I really wanted to do a party for my second as my first was born during COVID and I didn’t get to have a shower. I don’t care if people think it’s tacky. I will do the same with my third. A party to meet the new baby. Certain people are going to buy you a gift no matter what. And certain people will find it tacky but who cares, just do what you want 💞 ps that’s super exciting you’ll have the first girl in the family and I’m pretty sure no matter what, she will be spoiled ☺️

I wish like hell I had done something for my daughter. It breaks my heart to skip past her "showers" page in her baby book. My son had three showers and they were 18 months apart but I wish we'd done something for her. Absolutely go for it. I might have a sprinkle for this baby, my mom really wants to. I don't want anyone buying anything crazy but just to celebrate this baby coming to us in such a dark time would be nice.
