What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? 15/9 AL

    WTO/TWW? TWW

    Ages of other child(ren)? 3

Any thoughts about this cycle? Hopeful, but cautious!

    Any questions?

Rant/Rave? Mother’s Day was lovely! I had a day at home with my boys! DS stood up at church and shouted “happy Mother’s Day!” And I died 😂

GTKY: What is a goal you are working on? How is it going?  Working on losing weight finally. I’m down about 10.5 pounds, so that’s good!
  • What number are you trying for? 3, but first two are adopted / being adopted

    Month/Cycle? 6/6

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)? 4 and 5

Any thoughts about this cycle? Well H is doing acupuncture, so maybe that will give us the boost we need and things will work out this cycle

    Any questions? Nope

    Rant/Rave?

GTKY: What is a goal you are working on? How is it going?
Idk if it’s really a goal, but I’m trying to do more culture-y things since we live in a big city so I should take advantage. I went to a musical recently and I’m planning to do some museums with the kids this summer when our schedule is less busy.

  • @ejoseph16 ha! kids are so funny.

@britters314 that sounds like a lot of fun! I wish we did more fun events like that too. Variety is the spice of life right?

What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle?

    WTO/TWW? I think today is O day

Ages of other child(ren)? nearly 10 months

Any thoughts about this cycle? My LP has been all over the place since being PP so my thoughts are always about how long it's going to be this time around. Last cycle it was 11. I wonder if it will ever get back to its usual 13 days.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? For Mother's Day I got flowers from my brother but not DH. Typical. DH has gifted me flowers.... 3? times in our relationship. We have a cat so it's not really worth it. She already ate part of a leaf haha. I wish he had at least gotten me a card. Oh well. I was supposed to get breakfast but 1) he had a headache and 2) we didn't have all the breakfast supplies I would want - which of course is my fault because only I do the grocery shopping! :| Alright I should stop complaining. We went through IF for so many years it's hard to switch suddenly to making a conscious effort to plan for a holiday celebrating our new status as mom and dad. There's plenty of other years to actually do something special.

GTKY: What is a goal you are working on? How is it going? Therapy! I've been meaning to get back to seeing a therapist for months now. Last week I did meet with my PCP to discuss changing medication so I am in the process of weaning off my current meds to move to lexapro. Next step is to find someone who can do an ADHD assessment. I think that diagnosis is a strong possibility. Once that's in the books I can focus on living better :)

What number are you trying for? 3

    Month/Cycle? 5/3

    WTO/TWW? WFFET

    Ages of other child(ren)? 4, almost 2!

Any thoughts about this cycle? So hopeful. Trying not to think about it.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? My older kiddo’s preschool had a potluck yesterday, during work hours, billed as parents can get to know each other from the different classes. Didn’t go, because I don’t have a flexible schedule (teacher). Turns out kids were invited, too. I feel so bad. Luckily he got to hang out with his bestie and her mom, but still. Clarity in the invite would have been good so I knew to take the day off and go!

GTKY: What is a goal you are working on? How is it going? Getting my library certification to be a school librarian. 5 papers to go, then I’m done! Now to wait for a job opening :)

@ejoseph16 so cute! kids are the best! My oldest wanted to wear his favorite shirt for Mother’s Day 😂

@britters314 I fall into that big city culture trap, too. Too easy to plan on doing it later…

@inthewoods23 how long have you had your cycles back? hopefully they normalize soon!
  • ejoseph16ejoseph16 member
@britters314 museums are the best! Sounds like fun! What musical did you go to?

@inthewoods23 my cycles have had so much variation in general since having DS. And I’m 3 years out. 😒

@halfanewt I’m so scared for this part of being a teacher. Especially this time of year when you truly can’t take time off!
  • @ejoseph16 H and I saw Les Mis a few months ago. It was so good!

  • @halfanewt since October when I was 3 months PP. I think I got it after 3 or 4 days of pumping 3x a day at work. Wtf lol. I was NOT expecting to get it back so soon! At the same time I was okay with it knowing we wanted to go for #2 once DS is around a year old at the earliest. I would have hated waiting and wondering when AF would arrive for the first time.

@ejoseph16 ugh that sounds terrible! I need some sense of consistency or else I'd lose my mind wearing a pantiliner every day just in case 🥴

@inthewoods23 luckily I have stayed temping, so I know when it’s coming, but still. Awful.

@britters314 oh I love Les Mis!!!! I’ve only seen it live one time professionally done (not a HS production) and it was in Berlin, Germany. So not quite the same, but still. Great show! Wicked is my all-time fave.
