Caution about Target registry discount

If you forget that you have the 15% registry discount applied on your Target Circle app, and you use your Wallet barcode to apply other things like Circle earnings, you might waste 1 of your 2 discounts on a small purchase. I accidentally did this on a <$50 and the 15% discount saved me $7. Customer service couldn’t undo it, but they said other women have done this before, and they kindly gave me a $10 gift card as a consolation prize. I was reading on another pregnancy forum that some women get nothing when they make this mistake, while one had her discount reactivated after spending lots of time on the phone with them. But we shouldn’t need to do that - it’s an easy mistake to make in their app, so there should be an easy fix.
