Headache Remedies? Tylenol?

I just started experiencing headaches every now and then but this one won't go away and feels like it's getting worse. Maybe a migrain? I know I need to talk to my doctor but I could really use a quicker answer. Can I use Tylenol?? Are there any harmful effects?

Yes, Tylenol is what doctors will recommend as the first treatment for pain (and fever) in pregnancy. It's been used for decades and until recently hadn't been shown to have any negative effects as long as you follow the instructions. Some recent research had linked Tylenol use in pregnancy with an increased risk of autism in the child. But I think most women take Tylenol at some point in their pregnancy, and most kids don't have autism.
  • Get you some peppermint oil. Apply it to your temple, behind your ears and under your nose. Works like a charm for me. Baby #3 for me.
