    Upcoming appointments:
    Had the a/s this past Monday, regular OB this coming Monday, then repeat a/s on 5/16 to get more pics of the heart (baby wasn’t being cooperative this time)

    How are you feeling? 
    Same old, same old - good but tired. Feeling some kicks now!

    Raves/Rants: 
    I have a lot of fun little things to look forward to this month: a Mother’s Day brunch with my mom/cousins/aunts, beach trip, my birthday, girls’ night with my neighborhood friends, a friend coming to visit from out of town. 

    Questions:

    GTKY: what’s your favorite way to pamper yourself?
    I don’t know if this is really pampering, but 3 or 4 times a year I love to take the day off work, send the kids to daycare, and do whatever I want. It usually includes watching reality tv, a nap, a walk or hike with my husband, and ice cream. It absolutely does not include any housework or appointments.

    Upcoming appointments: Monthly OB later this month. 

    How are you feeling? Besides these often twice nightly vivid disturbing dreams, I’m ok! Things are going well. 

    Raves/Rants: Baby Boy had an EKG yesterday, no abnormalities! Anatomy scan was all good. 

    Questions: Nah

    GTKY: what’s your favorite way to pamper yourself? A bath and wine… none of which I’ve done in pregnancy. Le sigh.

    Upcoming appointments: had anatomy scan today. Midwife appt on May 15. 

    How are you feeling? I’m good. Still good symptom wise and feeling lots of movement. Baby is so active! I’m in the great stage 😅. 

     I had my anatomy scan today. Baby was so cooperative and made it so easy to get measurements and see everything that they needed. Neither of my other two were at all so maybe I’ll have one kid that listens well. 😂 And baby is measuring bigger than my 2nd so it looks like I’m on track for another 4kg (9lbs) baby. 🫠

    and the not so great but not too bad news. Their kidneys were measuring a bit larger than average. We will go back at 32 weeks for a follow up ultrasound and see if it’s the same or bigger. If it’s bigger then once the baby is born, we will need to closely monitor and follow it with specialists as they can be more prone to infections. I’m not super stressed but it is concerning. I didn’t have this with my other 2. 

    Raves/Rants: I’m home from vacation and back to reality. We have a busy month. House renovations, 7 appts between me and the 2 kids, and then we’re off on another vacation. Greece was amazing. I want to go back.

    the spa. 100%. I went 2 times in Greece.

    Baby is the size of a(n): banana?! So big

    Upcoming appointments: Tuesday for the second attempt at our a/s, hope baby cooperated this time

    How are you feeling? Better, we had a week-long vacation and it was exactly what I needed.

    Raves/Rants: So excited to be done with work by the end of May! Then I can finally finish up my masters and get ready for baby.

    Questions: natm

    GTKY: what’s your favorite way to pamper yourself? I don't really pamper myself, but if I'm feeling good, I like to cook a nice meal for myself.

    GTKY: what’s your favorite way to pamper yourself? I honestly never take time for myself. If I do, I guess I would say a pedicure or massage
