    Status: medicated cycle this week

trying to focus on being hopeful. It was an intrauterine pregnancy. That means my tube is still open. I got pregnant. I got pregnant in one cycle on femara. Hopefully that means we will be successful again and all this uncertainty will be behind us.
    Otherwise…
really struggling (Tw LC, another persons pregnancy putting it in a spoiler)

My oldest is playing T ball and another parent is pregnant right about the same time along I SHOULD be. And I have to see her a few times a week. I just keep thinking we should be bonding about being due around the same time, instead I’m the creepy woman who tears up every time she is around 🥴

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Genetic testing was normal on us both! 🙌

    Questions?

GTKY: What is one of your hobbies and how did you get into it?  Photography! I used to be a professional photographer. I still dabble in it.

***Putting a TW for unplanned pregnancy and loss and IF***

Last month I had a cp. Something that I haven't shared is when I was 19 (currently 36), I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks. It was an unplanned pregnancy, but still very much wanted. I didn't expect to be triggered to that with this recent loss. I have been struggling to conceive for over a year and then finally saw those beautiful lines and they so quickly disappeared. I feel like I'm broken and can't get it right. Today I went to Walmart and saw all the mothers day cards and it broke me. I want to be hopeful but my heart is aching. TTC is so hard.

See spoiler... Also, I lost my job unexpectedly. The same week of cp. It's been a hellofa month.

Any testing coming up/any recent results?
I got some hormone testing done with a wellness Dr. And have an appt next week. Hope I get something that might help me.

    Questions? No

GTKY: What is one of your hobbies and how did you get into it My favorite hobby is disc golfing! My DH and I got into it 6 years ago when we were having a little bit of a rough patch and it helped us get through it. I love it!!

@charmedlifex3 I hope that you get results with your next cycle to and it's a sticky bean!!!

  • @charmedlifex3 I’m sorry you’re dealing with that.
    *TW* LC, other people’s pregnancy
I had a similar situation with my last loss and every kids birthday party I had to politely smile and make small talk with this woman, while trying not to cry in public.

@sunshine134 I’m so sorry you had to go through that at such a young age and that it’s rising to the surface again with your recent loss. I’m also sorry about your job. Sometimes it just feels like all the bad piles up at once. I think it means you are due for something positive in your life really soon. I’m rooting for you.

4 losses, this is the first cycle after a CP.

Struggling today.  My endocrinologist told me a month ago when he put me on levothyroxine it should be a 4-6 week recovery time for my TSH to get back to normal.  I had a blood draw Monday and it posted on my chart — it’s even higher than it was 4 weeks ago, howwww 😭.  I talk with him virtually on Monday, and in the meantime trying to troubleshoot if I’m taking it at an ideal time—with our schedule it’s hard.  I tried setting an alarm for an hour before wake up to get up and take it and then go back to sleep; and it worked fine but I woke up even more tired than usual.  Just feeling defeated today, feeling set up for another loss with timing this month, feeling like I’ve already sacrificed so much with my diet and eating habits for no lasting benefit, and feeling like we’re heading to the bench this next cycle, which means we’ll probably be benched for awhile since after this cycle a spring due date would put us right in the middle of a cross-country move.

BUT.  Chatting with my pastor and his wife was so helpful, and support from some friends has been such a bright spot this week.

Any testing coming up/any recent results?

    TSH is even higher 😔

Calligraphy (inspired by some amazing artists back in like 2015) and watercolor because a beginner class was offered at a beautiful art space close to where we used to live.  I hardly do anything anymore except random chalk signs for family events.

  • @sunshine134 my job terminated me the literal day of my d and c. I was like … wow. Insensitive much? So you aren’t alone in that. Late stage capitalism sucks.
@virginiaham it’s so frustrating when our bodies get in the way of TTC. I’m very reminded I’m 38 when this type of thing happens 🥴

  • @maggiemadeit and @charmedlifex3 thank you for your kind words and encouragement.

@virginiaham sorry about your tsh. I'm hoping it turns around for you soon!
  • @virginiaham I’m sorry about your TSH, how incredibly frustrating!
  • Thanks ladies…and @charmedlifex3 isn’t that the truth!!  I’m 36 and feeling like my body is making sure I know 😒😂
