Upcoming appointments: May 16 for 10 week appointment
How are you feeling? Not too bad - the heartburn has been absolutely killing me lately, so I spent a good chunk of time yesterday Googling what I can/can't have to try and resolve the issue. Emotionally I'm finally letting myself get more excited and trying to come up with cute ways to tell our families.
Raves/Rants: One of my good friends from college just posted that she's due in November, so I'm really excited to have someone close with similar dates. She went through IVF and I'm super excited for her.
How are you feeling? Meh. Nauseous, bloated, tired, food aversions. Typical first trimester grossness. And vivid dreams
Raves/Rants: We got mixed news about starting the journey of buying a new home. Our new mortgage payment is probably going to be much higher than it currently is, and while we can swing it, we didn't want it to be THAT much higher. But it is what it is, and to really live our dreams of homesteading and growing our business then we gotta make this move sooner rather than later. The good news is we have good selling point for our home so yay! We gotta finish up some projects and clean up so we can get our home on the market but we are just going to start going out with our realtor to look at homes in our lower price range jus to see what they look like in person in the mean time. But we gotta sell this place first to make the offer on the other place.
Upcoming appointments: May 29th for almost 9week confirmation
How are you feeling? I've been having some mild morning sickness everyday for the last few weeks and a bit of dizziness but today is the worst so far. Still no actual vomiting but I feel like I need to be close to a trash can and I'm super dizzy feeling today. I've also had to use the toilet for #2 three times so far. Usually eating a good meal solves it so I mustered up the energy to make a good breakfast but it's not hitting the mark yet. Took a B-6 tablet so hopefully that'll start working soon. Trying to lay down and sip water while my toddler watches TV and brings me books to read to him. I'm also supposed to work in a few hours caring for an almost 3 yr old and 4 yr old. Don't want their parents to think I'm completely lazy or keeping them sick with a stomach bug, but also not ready to explain why I'm feeling like this.
Raves/Rants: I have the biggest appetites for all these meals and get ingredients for them in my grocery pick up orders, but then I have NO energy to cook them and ask my husband to get take-out instead. I just want cooked sushi and my husband doesn't want me to bc we're both worried about cross-contamination with raw sushi prep area. We're also trying to wait until after the first ultrasound to tell our closest family members about the pregnancy but I'm dying to talk to someone close about it-especially when I feel like I need an extra hand today. I know I could have it so much worse with the nausea but it's still hard.
