High risk moms-to-be

Hi there, I'm 37 years old pregnant with mine and my husband's first baby. We are super excited! I had my first ultrasound Monday and everything looked good. However, the obgyn is sending me to a specialist after the 10 week appointment for special monitoring and ultrasounds.

I was just curious if there are any other moms or moms-to-be that have been through that before and what I can expect. He said they would be ensuring things very closely, like the baby's features.
