Anger

At 13 W, got very veryy angry, cried and yelled once. I am very afraid now. Will that cause any effect? I will never shout again or cry.

I hope you are feeling better now. This has happened to me during my last pregnancy. Maybe it's hormones. Some things just feel a little more intense sometimes. I don't think it will cause any effect. I found it helped to talk to my therapist about it, but she and my doctor didn't seem concerned.

  • Pregnancy hormone shifts can be rough. This whole journey is very emotional and people don't generally talk about the less than happy emotions that come up. I would definitely recommend getting a therapist. Perinatal related anxiety and depression can start during pregnancy (a lot of people just think it is postpartum). Having a professional to talk to now can be so helpful  with navigating the emotional waves of pregnancy as well as better prepare you for postpartum. You are not alone in this. A lot of women feel similarly.
