What works?

Hi! I am wondering what to do at this point in my journey?

-Started TTC in 2014
-Began infertility treatments in 2015
-Unexplained infertility
-3 years of treatments
-7 failed IUIs
-1 failed IVF
-2nd IVF was successful and that miracle is now 4
-TTC for baby #2 immediately after he was born
-IVF third time in 2020 failed
-took a break and tried naturally
-really started trying again in 2022
-started seeing Chinese fertility doctor to see if I could fix this naturally
-worked with her for 5 month
-last round started letrozole
-2 eggs ovulated this last round
-BFN

I have been trying everything I know and I feel so defeated. I feel like my body sucks and I don’t understand how some people can get pregnant so easily. My husbands SA is great. We have no frozen embryos because none ever made it to free. We have done 3 fresh cycles of IVF and my son was the only embryo out of 40 to be somewhat decent to implant. I have been doing Chinese herbs, eating healthy, acupressure, and all of the things I can possibly do, cutting out things that aren’t good for me.

What gives?

@Cwasson87 We don’t normally do one-off posts here, but this is a great community and you should definitely feel free to join in on our weekly threads. We have one specifically for discussing going through infertility treatments.

Hi, I am so sorry you are going through this. Unfortunately, dealing with fertility issues can be a difficult and emotional journey. I recommend tracking your ovulation (I have been using the app with reports that I can share with my doc) and visit a fertility specialist (or clinic) who specializes in the area of unexplained infertility that is one of the most difficult issues to deal with. Individual approach could help find the best treatment that will work out for you. However, not all fertility specialists know how to treat unexplained, even in the best IVF clinics.
