Infertility

Slow responder IVF

Hi ladies! I need some encouragement. I have a great AMH but for some reason, my ovaries are sluggish. I’m on day 8 of Stims, with two follicles over 15, 1 x 12mm, 1 x 11mm, three at 10mm and the remaining 8 all under 10mm. I’m on Gonal F 300, menopur 300 and cetrotide. My RE Is guessing probably 4 more days of stims but I’m worried that this isn’t going to be a good cycle. Cancelling isn’t really an option as we are paying the whole cycle out of pocket so we would lose everything. Still waiting on my Estradiol level from today but two days ago it was 1200. Thoughts?

Re: Slow responder IVF

  • It's encouraging that you have two follicles over 15mm and your Estradiol levels are at 1200. Your doctor's estimate of four more days of stims is also a good sign. Keep taking your medications as prescribed and trust the process. Every cycle is different, and it's important to stay positive and hopeful. Remember that you have a great AMH, which is a positive indicator of fertility. Stay in communication with your doctor, and continue to ask any questions or concerns you may have. Wishing you the best of luck on your fertility journey!
