Awe I love bump pics! I take one in the same dress every 4 weeks starting at 12 weeks. This is DD #1 and DD #2. I will share baby #3 16 week bump next week when I get there.
Disclaimer: not the best pic because I took it just now.
I'm only 13+5 but I feel like I got a giant bump (pre-lunch photo). It's much lower set than the bloating bump from before and never goes away, so I feel like it must be baby. After eating dinner, though, I swear I look 6 months pregnant! I thought it took much longer to get your bump, especially for your first pregnancy
@jennaverhaeghe Great idea to wear a dress in your pics, so you don’t have to worry about both a shirt and pants towards the end of your pregnancy! I like that you only took them every 4 weeks, too! That makes each new picture obviously different than the last! It’s probably much easier to keep up with them only every 4 weeks as well!
I took my baseline (“before”) pics in front of a white wall on February 12th at 7 weeks, intending to do the same outfit in front of the same wall every two weeks throughout pregnancy, but I wasn’t very happy with the pics. Here’s an example:
I didn’t like how I looked, and there was nothing at all in the picture except me to look at, which felt uncomfortable and boring. Also I needed that blank wall space where I had been standing, to put the changing table I bought on facebook marketplace! So I decided to scrap the whole project and just take the rest of my bump pics outside in front of a pretty tree or something.
So here’s the one I took yesterday at 13 weeks! The bump doesn’t look like much yet, especially since I’m overweight, but my tummy was a lot flatter than this when I started!
@starlight8323 love that you are taking them outside! We just do our actual bump photos next to a white wall but I cut my face and legs out. I also felt the same about being the only thing in the picture, so I decided to cut out my face haha
@anniemarie887 yeah it’s funny I didn’t plan it that way but if you look closely there’s one or two in both my other pregnancies that were taken in our holiday trailer. The doors ended up looking very similar by lovely chance. The first PG the hubby and I were working away and lived in the trailer pretty much all summer. It sucked lol

we don’t have a great blank wall spot, so this spot has nice natural light and is what we used in 2019
