Question ladies, so I had some cramping March 4th went to the hospital (no bleeding) my HCG was at 115, they had me come back 2 days later and it doubled to 338 on March 6th., March 10th it was 1200 and today March 17th it’s only at 1598
I went back today to do a repeat ultrasound and there is a yolk sack but no fetal pole, (I thought I was 6 weeks but they said I measured 5 weeks) they said no sign of ectopic or miscarriage but my question is how come my hcg was doubling but now it’s just slowly increasing from the 10th to the 17th?

Sorry, but you went to the ER for cramping? 🙄 A simple phone call to your doctor office would suffice, and not waste time or resources with a VERY EXPENSIVE ER visit.  Why do people continually abuse the ER system? 

At a certain point, your HGC stops doubling every 48 hrs.  Your level is in the normal range for 5 weeks as the ultrasounds says.  Though the most accurate for a dating scan is 10-12 weeks.

Not sure what the above comment is as it’s for sure not lifting other women up and judge mental, but I see and hear you! I hope everything turns out ok and you are able to have your anxiety eased. This is a stressful time!
