My pregnant wife is a qualified teacher who is passionate about early childhood development. She came up with the idea for a family-friendly book on pregnancy and prenatal development, to educate and prepare our 3-year old daughter for the imminent arrival of her sibling (due date 21st March). 'Poppy Seed to Watermelon' is for ages 3-11 years. Split page differentiation allows younger readers to recognise fruits, numbers and sizing, whereas older children would also be able to learn about the physical and cognitive development of a foetus over 40 weeks. We have received positive feedback from teachers and early childhood development experts. The book is colourful, fun, and teaches children not just about pregnancy, foetal sizing, timing, but also about the basic fundamentals like counting up and counting down.🤰🤱Is this topic of pregnancy and prenatal development something parents want to discuss with children? Does this book appeal to you as an educational resource? I'd love to hear the thoughts of this wonderful community.
