in when my next cycle starts, which should be soon based on my temps. So, hi! 👋🏼
How many months have you been TTC?: 3, currently WTO
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: BBT, CM, prenatal vitamin. Progesterone testing after I ovulate this cycle. I tried checking cervical position this cycle out of curiosity and I don't think I quite have the hang of it yet.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) Hi everyone! I've been lurking in the message boards for a while so I figured I would finally jump in. My husband and I got married over the summer and decided to TTC this January. I went through a very stressful phase of life before we were married (we were long-distance which didn’t help) and I think my health is still kind of recovering from that stressful time.
Now that life has finally slowed down I've seen some improvements in my health and since January I have been specifically focused on making lifestyle changes (1 hour walks/day, staying hydrated, eating BALANCED meals, less sugar and coffee, etc). I recently read the book Real Food for Pregnancy and I loved it. I've also been nerding out on all the fertility charting and cycle tracking instagram accounts and podcasts out there. These threads introduced me to Fertility Friend for cycle tracking and its great!! I can't believe I hadn't heard of this free resource before.
As far as hobbies I enjoy various crafts and trying to keep plants alive lol, and in January I started a sourdough starter for the first time. I diligently fed it for probably 6 weeks, it wasn't yet passing the "readiness test" of floating or doubling in size, and then we went out of town for a week and it kind of died. It's in the fridge now so one of these days I'll either try to start it up again or maybe just start over lol.
That was pretty wordy but hello again! 👋
@clover2816 welcome to the party, I hope your stay with us is short and sweet!
