My 5 month old is a big eater as it is. He polishes off a 9 ounce bottle with no problem at all and even cries when he finishes the bottle and I have to settle him down. He only eats about 4 times a day, however, as he dropped the night feedings at about 3 months when he started sleeping 8-11 hours at a time, and then the regression hit but I didn't reintroduce the night feedings. Normally he goes back to sleep fine just being comforted a little. Anyway, lately I've found that he gets SUPER hungry just before bed and the last 4 or 5 days, he has not gone to sleep until he's had about 15 ounces. Like he will lay there and scream and nothing will help him until I break down and feed him a little more and I end up doing that over and over again until he finally goes to sleep. He acts as if he's been starved all day. Then, he still doesn't even sleep through the night- he still wakes up multiple times and needs help going back to sleep. Does anybody know what's up with this?
