So I am just so thankful I made it this far. I noticed I don’t feel as nauseous anymore, and I can eat a wider variety of food now. But, here comes intense headaches, backaches and sooooo much redness and acne. I’m feeling less confident and just want to be alone now, anyone else going through the same?
I assume it’s the calming down of hormones, but now 13 weeks, and I had awful headaches all last week, but what has been absolutely awful hormonal acne that started during the TWW for me seems to finally be calming down. 🤞🏻 But, omg, I feel like I’m just in the WORST mood (like PMS type mood), so I assume that’s the change in hormones, also. 😅
@runningyogimama Yes, 14 weeks tomorrow and I started getting light headaches on and off daily. My face has also been super dry and my eyebrows flaking. What in the world?! My skin looks terrible.
Well. I told myself when I woke up today welcome to the next 6 months of hell because I officially can no longer sleep on my stomach. Let the tossing and sleepless nights begin… 😩 I started week 14 today and I am reminded that (for me) the next couple weeks are actually my least favourite part of pregnancy. Even though I am sporting a little bump and my symptoms are much better/ almost gone (which I should be happy about) it’s just hard for me because until I feel the baby move I don’t feel pregnant. It causes a lot of anxiety. Can’t wait to feel those first kicks!
I am so freaking hungry this week!! Like eating 4 full meals per day, lol, snacks (and I’m not a snack person), and still waking up hungry at 4 am. I’m so tired of all things protein, since I’ve been focusing on adding a protein every time I eat.
Also super tired this week, all week, so hoping it’s a baby growth spurt and both will get a little better soon?
These random aches and pulls and twinges are throwing me off… mostly in my hips and butt, but I’ve felt them in my gut and back too.15w1d. Not sure what normal is.
The headaches, I'm happy to see I'm not the only one! At least once a day I get one. Still exhausted though I'm working an extra day while they're offering triple pay so that doesn't help. I am getting hit with gagging constantly. After I eat, after I burp, when I stand too fast or sit too fast. Everything makes me gag. It's so weird. heartburn is still killing and my sciatica. Ughh
Nose bleeds. I had one that was mild last week, but tonight’s it out of control - 3+ hours of bleeding. Called the on call OB and am currently at the ER waiting to be seen.
@anniemarie887 I'm sorry to hear about the crazy nosebleed. I've had the occasional nosebleed too but not that bad. I remember getting a few bad ones towards the end of my pregnancy with DD.
I was looking forward to symptoms going away but still throwing up occasionally, super nauseous at night, and extremely tired. Then I got the headaches, dizziness, and some twinges of pain here and there. Not sure if it's round ligament pain? But the dizziness is so scary! My blood pressure drops really low, like 90/45 low (we have a monitor at home). I couldn't find much info online for low BP and completely forgot to mention it to the doctor. Anyone else having low BP and dizziness?
@mokamonster Not this pregnancy so far, but I did with my oldest. It’s not concerning like high BP, but obviously you don’t want to pass out. Staying super well-hydrated, snacking often (include some extra salty snacks), and I often also felt like my blood sugar dropped at the same time, so always kept juice boxes and fruit snacks on hand for quick easy sugar and hydration when I would feel that way.
So weird! We messaged our OB and she literally said to avoid sugar and salty foods? Like they only want me having one piece of fruit per day, I thought thay seemed extreme considering my blood sugar is always between 4-5. Also, can't exercise at all because of a very small subchorionic hemotoma. So I'm just confused if they are being overly cautious or if I should follow what they say
Hi Ladies! Yay to us all! I’m 14 weeks+1. I have had an increase in watery discharge. I don’t know why I always thinks it’s amniotic fluid….please tell me others have had an increase in watery discharge.
I have been getting this, too. I slightly panic whenever I feel a sudden gush. At this stage (18w), there’s just increased fluid discharge everywhere! I still have horrible rhinitis too
@cammie0526 Ugh, pregnancy heartburn sucks! Mine was worst with my second (I’ve had it with my others, just not as bad), and didn’t clear up until delivery - I vividly remember a nurse bringing me an Italian ice while in labor, and even that gave me heartburn. 😅
I don’t know if this counts as a “symptom” but I experienced it with my first pregnancy too and, of course, am only just now thinking to reach out and see if anyone has a solution…I know drinking plenty of water is important but it almost always makes me feel queasy, regardless of temperature. The issue is that this almost always leads to truly not drinking enough throughout the day, which then makes me THIRSTY at night. Like, insatiably so. I feel like I could drink a gallon of water during dinner. I’d rather have the water intake than not so I allow myself to drink a decent amount, but then I have to wake up to pee (and drink more water) and I’m already having a really hard time going back to sleep…it’s too early for this!! Any suggestions for increasing water intake throughout the day? Bonus points if it’s not just “fight through the queasyness” lol thanks!
Knottie - it doesn’t have to be straight water. Have you tried sparkling water? Adding flavor? Sucking on ice chips? Plain water made me a little nauseous early on this time around, so I drank little bits but also ate a ton of fruit popsicles and apples to help “supplement”
The discharge change always scares me. I have had the same and instantly thought I was leaking 😓 heartburn is finally under control some. I can drink water with out burning my throat after. Over this cold though. I am sore everywhere too 😭 my stomach has been very tight lately. I think baby is further forward than any of my others were.
Have a yeast infection I've never had one before so I ignored it for a week until it was unbearable. I guess it's common during pregnancy because when I told the doctor there was a fire in my vagina, she was so calm and got her swab ready haha. Learned my lesson not to wait!
I've started getting the numbness in my hands and feet. Wake up to them tingling again 😭 I hated this last time. So weird. Heartburn is finally under control. Getting a lot of pelvic pain though now grrr. Energy is slowly creeping back up lol
