Notching in uterine artery - 19 wk scan

Has any bad experience with uterine artery notching? They looked at my arteries during my 19 week anatomy scan since I had preeclampsia with my first pregnancy. They found notching in my left artery and said that puts me at a very high risk for getting preeclampsia again - maybe even sooner this time or to a worse degree. I have to see a high risk doctor routinely now on top of my normal OB appts. Anyone experienced this? What ended up happening?

I don’t know anything about uterine notching- never heard of it.  Does your dr have you on low dose aspirin since you had preeclampsia first time around?  My dr said it could help. I had preeclampsia first time around too.  I’ll definitely ask about this test. I’m glad you’ll be monitored closely for this as it sounds scary.  Hope you are doing ok.

I hadn’t either until this time! They only checked the blood flow in my uterine arteries because of my history with pre-e. I am on baby aspirin.
