Month/Cycle: Month 14, Cycle 10

CD: Cycle Day 5

WAYDTGKU: OPK, First round of Letrozole - my doctor said we’ll try the medication for 3 cycles and then add IUI if if doesn’t work, so 🤞🏻🤞🏻

R/R: I’m hoping the Letrozole will at least help me know when/if I’m even ovulating. I feel like it has just been a guessing game this whole time.

CS/Q: None for now.

R/R: My period was like super weird this month like super light to start and then stupid heavy like CD3 which is so weird for me.

@dmcg17 I have never done letrozole but I did clomid and I knew when I ovulated and the clomid rage was REAL!

WAYDTGKU: bbt and chatting, opk, trying out a proov complete kit, hoping to get good timing!

R/R: this is the second cycle in a row that i’ve gotten sick while WTO. and i almost NEVER get sick. last cycle i got a stomach flu on CD5 and now it seems my kid brought home hand foot and mouth from preschool. i know it most likely won’t impact ovulation and TTC but gahhh. is the universe trying to tell me something?!

@mambo5-2 I haven’t heard of Clomid rage! My doctor said I could be emotional (which my near-constant feeling that I need to cry proves) but not rage.

Month/Cycle: 3/4

CD: 16

WAYDTGKU:  All but ART!  I take a literal handful of supplements every day, have charted my cycles for years, and religiously test my hormones using OPKs, Proov progesterone tests, and my Mira hormone machine. 

R/R:  I was hoping that my body would ovulate according to its usual CD13-CD16 timeline, which would have led to us trying over this past weekend.  But no - it's CD16, and my hormones are just beginning their 2 day-ish climb upward, so we're trying on weeknights again.  And this is the week my husband has to commute to his company's office 1-1/2 hours away on Wednesday.  Yay.

CS/Q:  None.

@dmcg17 Have you used Clomid before, or only Letrozole?  If the former, did you notice any difference in symptoms?  I'm considering asking my doctor if I should try one or the other if I go another couple of cycles without conceiving.

@geekprincess26 I have not used Clomid. My husband and I just went through testing and my doctor chose Letrozole over Clomid for me.
