Oh Boy!

We are having a boy.  So any advice / suggestions / recommendations/ comments about boys are greatly appreciated.  We have two daughters so the boy world is a new adventure for us.

What are essential things you need for a baby boy that are different for a girl? Are there certain clothing that is more  comfortable for for newborn boy (after being circumcised)? Best way to change diapers without being peed on? Where do you find cute boy clothes?

You will definitely get peed on.  We would put the wipe on the penis while doing a quick change but it’s inevitable…. We didn’t circumcise so I can’t speak to that.  We mostly buy target and old navy and get hand me downs from friends.  Essential items- when they’re older babies- cars and blocks!

I’m in the reverse situation bc I’m having a girl after 2 boys. I usually would have the new diaper ready to go with each change so I could just close it up fast- it didn’t always work tho. I think mine both quit peeing at each change after about 6 weeks. Using the little pads on top of your changing pad cover helps so you’re not constantly taking off the cover. We also didn’t circumcise either of my boys so I have no advice there! I love cat & Jack clothes from Target. Oshkosh is another cute brand!
