Spotting- should I worry?

First ever pregnancy. 10w, 5d. Had some spring previously and was told everything was fine. Today I had some bright pink/ light red spotting when I wiped. Heavier than the previous spotting. I have an appointment with my OB on Wednesday. But should I be worried? Is this normal? I'm freaking out.

It can be normal have you had sex? It may have itritated your cervix.  You may have a subchronic hematoma.  Search the boards you will see a ton of posts with the exact question.

It’s important to consult with your physician any time you are concerned about spotting/bleeding. BUT to ease some concerns you may have, as long as it’s not heavy and soaking through liners and just spotting with no clots, typically it’s nothing to worry too much about. But always check with your doctor
