Abnormal ultrasound findings.

I went in for my first prenatal appointment. My baby is measuring at 9 weeks. I had to do another ultrasound later that day to confirm I did not have twins (which I didn’t). The results of the ultrasound said the fetal head seems abnormal with possible cystic spaces or enlarged ventricles but the gestational age is too early to fully evaluate the CNS anatomy. Has anyone had any scares like that? Did it improve at your 2nd ultrasound appointment?

Hi, I didn't have this with the head per se but one of my babies has more fluid in the neck area than they should. I was 10w4D when that was determined. The first time I was seen was 7w3d so it was too early to see anything like that. I am now going in for further testing (blood test, CVS to 100% determine anything). I hope the best for you! When is your next ultrasound?
