Hi! I just had my first beta two days ago 2/6/23 and it was 403. Today 2/8/23 it was 727. So only rose by 55%. So they want me back in another two days. Should I be worried? Thank you! First time pregnancy here so of course I’m so anxious!

It’s hard to say. They definitely should double every 48 hours but everyone and pregnancy is different. This may be perfectly okay or it may unfortunately mean it’s unviable pregnancy. I know first hand the stress around HCG numbers. Try not to panic until you get your next draw done! Best of luck! Keep us posted ❤️

Your doubling time is 2.3 days /56 hours. You’re just shy of the 2 day “rule”.

I’m not sure where you got the percentage, but you increased by 80.4% over 2 days, not 55%.

The 2 day “rule” is not hard and fast, and every pregnancy will be different. My initial doubling time was right around yours and got faster my second comparison.

Thank you so much for your help! I had my 3rd beta test today and had a steady rise to 1374 and my doctor is happy with how I'm trending so I feel so much better! First ultrasound is on the 23rd :)
