Bassinet transition

Hi again! Our 7 week old is outgrowing the smaller bassinet we have been using at night up until this point. I know we have to transition him out of it but he only lasts 15 minutes (if that) in the bigger bassinet. Any tips on transitioning? Thanks!

My baby prefers to be placed near a side wall of his bassinet for this reason. If we place him in the middle he kick, wiggles, grunts and groans his way over to the side before finally falling asleep 😅 lol
 if we put him near the side wall, he just presses against it and falls asleep. The sides of our bassinet are mesh and completely breathable. I wouldn't do that otherwise
