How are you feeling?: Mostly fine. Feet are fat and swollen, but as long as they don't actually *grow,* I'm good. Crazy to think that baby could be here in a month and be term (early term) at 37 weeks!

Rants/Raves: Rant: I'm just annoyingly busy this week and am afraid of not getting everything done. Rave: I've lucked out and scored a lot of great used baby stuff this past week. The big things left over are a stroller and car seat (which I'll buy new), and then odds and ends like diapers and breastfeeding and postpartum stuff. My husband's also getting some small pieces of furniture custom-made. To me, it feels unnecessary and like it makes things complicated, but it makes him happy and lets him flex his engineering/design skills, so, great. One benefit is that it lets us use certain tight, tricky spaces in our tiny apartment to the max

Questions: Is anyone doing a maternity photo shoot? I'd love to hear details!

GTKY: What famous person do people say you look like? I heard Cameron Diaz a lot when I was younger. Over the past 10 years or so, tons of people have asked if I'm Russian/Slavic. I've had strangers (some of them Russian themselves) come up to me out of the blue and ask. Something about my face shape/cheekbones, apparently!

@missmuisq I got maternity photos done for my first and I'm getting them done again this time
 I love having them. I hired a friend and we did the at her family property outside. I'm not sure where we're doing them this time, outside somewhere again. And I have no clue what I'm going to wear. Do you have specific questions?

How are you feeling?: Hips are sore and pregnancy insomnia is a real struggle. Other than that good. 

Rants/Raves: Rant. My PIL and my husband's siblings are all coming this weekend because my SIL that lives here had her baby, and it's FILs 60th so big party is happening. Husband and I always give money for school fund for kids. And I bought some self care stuff for my SIL. This is her third boy so she said she doesn't need gifts. MIL called my husband yesterday insisting we buy her a physical gift for baby. He said no. So she called me today telling me that we need to. 🙄
Rave: we had our first interview with someone for taking over my mat leave (I'm taking a year off). And it went so well! She's amazing and I don't even want to do the other interviews lol.

How are you feeling?: Tired, sleep is getting harder and harder. And large, my belly aches a lot and the extra weight isn’t being too kind to previous injuries 🥲

Rants/Raves: 

Rave- I had a dr appointment on Thursday and was worried I was still measuring 3 weeks ahead. Well, my dr said I’m measuring on track, and baby was most likely in a position to make my belly measure bigger!

Not sure about now, but when I was in high school everyone said I looked like Shawn Johnson(gymnast). I think they just said that because of my height 😂

Upcoming Appointments: Friday for OB check up 

How are you feeling?: Sick. We all have RSV, courtesy of my son's daycare. It's the fifth time I've been sick this pregnancy and I'm so over it.

Rants/Raves: Rant: I think my son has hit the three-nanger phase. He's like a jeckle and Hyde character. He can be a raging demon and then so sweet and cooperative moments later.

Questions: I get a pain that's somewhat acute right at the top of my ribs when I lay too long on my left side. It's like it builds like something is draining on that side and causing it. So I always have to switch to my right side and it goes away. I'm pretty sure I got this last pregnancy too, but I don't think my nurse practitioner (didn't have an OB at that point) knew what it was. Does anyone have this?

GTKY: What famous person do people say you look like? I heard Scarlet Johansson when I was younger and once I told my sister and she said she got told that too! Maybe the "girl with the pearl earring"

How are you feeling?: Very sore and very fat. Lots of heartburn and starting to wake up MOTN randomly.

How are you feeling?: tired, huge, back is killing me, feels like the babies dropped so they aren’t up right in my ribs, but now I feel like I have two giant bowling ball between my leg. 

Rants/Raves: my only rant right now is I had a patient at work ask me how I could accurately do my job since my belly is so huge and wasn’t sure why my boss was still letting me work with the bottom part of my belly hanging out. 

Questions: when is the best time to have a baby shower when expecting twins? When is the best time to go on a mini vacation before the babies get here?

Sorry I’ve been MIA the last couple of weeks. I’ve just been so busy since the holidays. I was sick for two weeks and am still catching up on everything. 😞

How are you feeling?: Heavy. Tired. Emotional. I basically cry every day because I’m so tired and then can’t sleep well through the night. 

Rants/Raves: Had my baby shower on Sunday and was just amazed at how generous everyone was. I feel so blessed.

GTKY: What famous person do people say you look like? When I was in my early twenties I used to get Sarah Michelle Gellar. Probably because of how I wore my hair then and my nose.

How are you feeling?: hips are getting more and more sore. I’m getting sick of the annoying pregnancy symptoms so I’m trying to focus on the lovely ones like all the baby kicks. 

Rants/Raves: it’s only January and I’m already over the snow. Our house is in a state right now.. we have so many projects that need to be finished before baby comes and I’m thinking they’re not gonna happen.. to top it off one of the recent storms damaged the chimney on the back of the house and caused a leak in the kitchen ceiling which is now collapsing.
