Introduce yourself and anything you think is important:1 loss last week.

    Status: WTO

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? the grief comes in waves. Good friends just gave birth yesterday and it brought up a ton of sadness came with the excitement for them. I hate the mixed feelings.

Any testing coming up/any recent results: Testing out HCG with HPT I guess.

    Questions? Nope.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do when you’re procrastinating an unpleasant work or home task? Scrolling tiktok or binge watching shows. HAHA.

@stashattack I’m sorry. Those happy sad occasions are so hard to navigate. Hugs.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: 2 losses (6 and 12 weeks) and a chemical in the last 19 months. Diagnosis “Old eggs” and “bad luck”

Status: CD2, 5th cycle back trying again after some time off

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Happy to be starting a new cycle. We were in the presence of a small baby this weekend at a party and my husband admitted that he has baby fever. I’m glad to know that he isn’t TTC again just for me, but it upped the pressure a little. This time last year I was at the end of the first trimester and trying to hide my pregnancy. I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since we lost that baby. I wonder if January will always feel hard now.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? No testing planned, but I have my annual with my OBGYN scheduled in March. If we don’t get anywhere by then I think I will ask for a referral to the RE to get some more thorough testing done.

    Questions? NATM

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do when you’re procrastinating an unpleasant work or home task? Bumping is a favorite, as well as spending way too much time on Google and PubMed looking up fertility things. I WFH so I often procrastinate work tasks with home tasks. Why write that next manuscript when I can fold laundry and mop the kitchen floor? 😂

Ugh for some stupid reason I'm sure they uploaded the US images from last week into my patient portal. That's not what I wanted to see this morning. 😖

@stashattack I’m sorry, those kind of reminders are the worst. I still, almost 1 year later, have an order for a glucose tolerance test and NIPT in my chart, and every time I have to go to the lab I have to explain that no, I’m not pregnant, and I won’t be having those tests. No one can seem to remove them, even though I’ve asked.

@stashattack boo hiss. And this is why loss people have trauma because stupid stuff always pops up.

@maggiemadeit that's so frustrating! I'm so sorry. That's awful. There has to be a way to remove those orders.
