Hello everyone. I am 32 weeks pregnant. I did an MRI and the doctor said that there was an expansion of the anterior horns of the lateral ventricles in the brain. The lateral ventricles themselves are fine but their horns are extended. Apart from that, there are no other findings. In a previous ultrasound I was told that the lateral ventricles were also dilated, but now it turns out that they are completely normal. The doctor doesn't know what it means and just says that I have to do an exome genetic test, even though the amniocentesis I did came out normal. Has anyone encountered such a problem? What it means? I'm already 32 weeks and I don't know what will happen. Thanks.
