Hi all!
I am 38 years old with no living children. My husband and I have been ttc since 09/2021. In 12/2021 we had an ectopic pregnancy, and since then, we have not been able to get pregnant again. We have done several medicated cycles as well as 4 IUIs. I am in the TWW of our 4th IUI now. We have some insurance coverage for IUIs, and one more left after this to try before moving to IVF. Our suspected issue is egg quality due to my age, but my AMH is above average for my age. My estradiol level 2 days prior to this last IUI was 1493. This is 4x higher than it has been in any of our other IUIs. Is this reflective of actual mature eggs in the follicles? I know that mature follicles are supposed to produce 200-300 pg/ml of estradiol, but does that mean the follicle actually contains an egg? Meaning we’d have at least 4-5 eggs this month?
