    Oooh! I was just talking about this one this morning at breakfast with my mom and sister!

    It's proper for a gentleman to offer his left arm to escort a lady, because that's typically the opposite of his sword arm and he needs to be able to access his sword quickly to defend her. (I learned this at a wedding I was in a few years ago, and only this morning learned that my mom and sister don't like my friend who got married. But her wedding coordinator taught us that during the rehearsal.)

    You shake hands with your right hand traditionally because the left was used for wiping your butt after using the bathroom.
